Conditions of white supremacy make white privilege possible. White privilege/white racial hegemony must be complemented by white supremacy/ white racial domination. James scheurich described being white as akin to walking down the street with money being put into your pant pocket without your knowledge. At the end of the day, we can imagine that whites have a generous purse without having worked for it. Founding fathers proclaimed that people were created equal, yet slavery (at a time, even reduced african slaves to only three-fifths of a person), patriarchy, and industrial capitalism remained humanity meant male, white, and propertied. Race cuts across class, gender, and other social identities. If we insert the subject of actions, we would conclude that racial minorities put the money in white pockets. Amount of acts of violence or terror by whites toward racial minorities (p. 14-)
