Official development assistance: bilateral, foreign aid, cash flow at discounted/non commercial rates, causes deeply political ties between nations. Issues having to do with the creation and dissemination of knowledge in particular areas of inquiry. Poverty and development from different vantage points. World bank: 1944 bretton woods conference, multilateral development bank, important center of policy, lending and structural adjustment, knowledge producer. Generally has always pointed to some form of liberal capitalism.
