How much you get is dependent on medical bills (rule of thumb, you get 3 times your medical bills, a third to your lawyer, one third to your doctor, one third to you) Reality: law is all about money, money buys you justice. Where does the law come from? (1) legislature: congress, state legislatures, local law ordinance, state/ federal law statute, statute is then codified (put statute into code) c. i. Affirmative actions by lbj (4) people: prepositions (put on the ballot) (5) bureaucrats, administrative/ agency law vast majority of law, agencies pass regulations (6) constitution, can be amended. Tax/ immigration/ military/ bankruptcy court (own law books, rules, judges, buildings etc. )
