God for salvation: revelation= contact, not information about god. Its for union with god: personal self communication between god and humans. They all have parameters that one must work within and theology is no different. Deals with ultimate reality, what is beauty, truth, justice. In so much as you are a being, god is in you. O"meara: no boundaries but god bears limitation in divine activity because he limits himself to give dignity to secondary causes (humans) It would undermine god to be in charge of everything that secondary causes do and to have us be robotic reflection of god. Self-diffusive god : why did god create, not out of loneliness, but out of love so not out of necessity. Gift love, non needy, so there is no reason for creating us, just because. God"s existence is identical with god"s nature. There is no more becoming for god, we are always becoming and actualizing.
