Convergence of rods and cones: low convergence in cones (need a lot of lights to activate , high convergence in rods ( little light can fire) If we look aside from the stars , try to hit that rod peak, then we can see the stars. Rods & cones: whether they are receiving light or not, respond differently depending on how much light they get. Bipolar , ganglion, lgn cells: detectors of spots of light.
