Darwin: humans are slightly different in brain than other animals, but most of things/behaviors are shared with them humans do belong to the natural world. Psychological experience is the result of the emergent activities in your brain (split-brain patients showing the mental life of unique individuals are affected by the neural changes ) Nature vs nurture genes and experience individual behavior intricate combination of these two. The non-human brains follow laws without the mind that decides our difference. But actually a lot of other animals do complicated stuff as we do using their brains. Human mind free will, not physical, no rules. Dualism alive today court system (should we make someone responsible for their actions?)
