Blood would get hotter as more of it crosses the outside of the body and experiences a warmer external environment: seals. Brown fat store is being burned to generate heat. Sweating: increased evaporative cooling, release fluid on the exterior of our bodies and when the water evaporates, it cools. Cardiovascular function and morphology: transport functions. Transports through vessels of cardiovascular system: functional morphology. Moves through vessels and comes back, so it is a closed loop. Web-like network that stand at the transition of arterial supply and venous return: total cross-sectional area increases exponentially.
