High levels of extraversion are correlated with: posiive emoional states, high levels of happiness and life saisfacion, evoluion we need to be with people and hence by surrounding ourselves we gain this posiive feeling. Not only about social skills but about gaining energy. Extraverts get energy by being with others while introverts need a lone ime to rejuvenate. The ffm has somewhat bipolar terms, two extremes on both ends and we exist somewhere along the coninuum.
