Document Summary

The model"s appearance must have a high reflective quality to be able to see the reflected image. Already pre-set lights such as ambient and directional. To show the light source visually, right-click on light, and choose show lights. Can use photoview 360 add-in as well. Right click on light and edit light. Any changes in ambient light will only affect the model in solidworks, not in the preview. Can add shadows to the model, or can highlight certain features of the part. And can have 8 of them, where you can only have 1 ambient light. More brighter and intense, so resulting shadows are more apparent. Light is projected in the form of a cone. Display manager tab>> right click on lights>> add spotlight. Keep light when scene changes to keep the same light even when the scene is changed. Lock to the model > if this is checked, when rotating, the light and model will rotate together.
