How to be a smart consumer of news. Often directed at someone based on questioning and analysis. Sometimes driven by emotion identifies underlying assumptions and biases. Stereotyping another group ( all girls in x" sorority are the same, but mine is diverse (better) . Seeking out info that agrees with your existing beliefs. I only watch fox news because it"s the only one that"s truthful . News stories that you feel are not newsworthy . News stories that paint someone you like in an unflattering light by reporting their words or actions.
