What were the conditions when this were made, and how does it influence the image. Motive of analysis that would attend to gender roles. How does our sensory apparatus when in contact with a work, how are we positioned. Construction of the self through sensory and temporal experiences through the world. What does it look like, what is it"s shape, morphology, how do i translate my visual experience of this image into an expression. What does it mean, but what is it depicting, how do these interact within the image. Description is only the first part of a formal analysis. Not just seeing all parts of a work at once. Critical distance between the image and our assumptions about it. How different forms relate to one another across a space.
