City is abandoned in 256 ce, but synagogue preserved. Crossing of the red sea, house-synagogue, dura-europos, late antique, c. 244-245 ce. Moses parting the red scene, egyptian army being held back. Temple of aaron, house-synagogue, dura-europos, late antique, c. 244-245 ce. Soldier from pharoah"s army (cid:321)left(cid:322) and mariam playing the tymbrel (cid:321)right(cid:322) in celebration. Drapery 3d, modeled and shaded but also weirdly flat.
