Sexual harassment is any activity that is sexual in nature that is unwanted from a person and affects the person"s employment or causes a hostile environment at work for the employee. Equal employment opportunity commission (eeoc), sexual harassment happens when a person encounters: Other verbal/physical conduct of a sexual nature on the job. These encounters disrupt the work performance of the individual and created a work environment that is considered: Although the definition of sexual harassment changes depending on the country, most nations have at least some kind of policy to protect their workers. However, what is questionable is whether those policies or laws in other countries are actually followed. Normally, sexual harassment is seen more in societies that are male-dominated in their nature. Sexual harassment is disproportionately prevalent for women in certain kinds of jobs, and unfortunately is still seen today. To understand sexual harassment, you need to understand its central part, which is power.
