Teams are normally created in a deliberate manner, but at times, they can organically evolve. For example, you can look at how, over the past five years, there has been a rise of team hives. Freelancing is considered solo work done by people who are highly specialized in their field and can give expertise to organizations on a basis that is short-term. Freelancers have the challenge of effectively marketing themselves to organizations, and for organizations to actually find freelancers that fit their needs. To bridge this gap, freelancers create teams with other freelancers alike from complementary specialties to create a cohesive working team, also known as a hive, to clients. This approach has proved to be very successful. A lot of people have tried to find the factors related to the effectiveness of a team. To assist with this, some studies have organized a list of characteristics into a more focused model.
