Disparities in quality of health: health disparities: not all families experience the same quality of health. These factors are: drug dependent parents, abusive, incarceration, mentally ill, neglect, divorce, extreme poverty. This aces score was correlated with health outcomes. 1/8 had at least 4 or more. More likely to have heart attack, stroke, lung cancer (even if they do(cid:374)"t s(cid:373)oke), depressio(cid:374), suicide. Neurological reasons that people that have been in more high risk behavior are more likely to have worse health. Fight or flight response hypothalamus- pituitary.
