ECON 201 Lecture 38: Stay Away From Small Bargains That Really Arent

21 views2 pages

Document Summary

Stay away from small bargains that really aren"t small. Every day, you see deals and bargains on things from food to tvs. The deal usually is only available for a certain amount of time, so you"re forced to quickly act on it if you want it. Remember that just because someone says something is a bargain, doesn"t mean it actually is to you. Kiosk sales people in malls will attack you with special deals and bargains. All of their bargains are normally overprices anyway. In addition, these bargain products are normally things you"ll never use. It"s hard to resist deals on things as you walk through a store, but think twice about whether it"s actually a bargain for you. If it isn"t, then use your will power not to buy it. Before you buy anything expensive, stop and think about whether you really need it. You"ll have to judge what is expensive to you personally.
