Behavioral treatment is very expensive and time consuming but meds are good for short term but psychological treatment is more long lasting: autism. Applied behavioral analysis:based on operant conditioning, an intensive treatment for autism. A min. of 40 hours a week. Needs to be very structured and repetitive. Oxytocin may be lacking; and an injection of it may help but not tested yet: adolescent depressive disorder.
