Nuremberg laws- many jews left when these were enacted. Lebensraum (living space) for germans so they could take their rightful spot as the best country in the world. Lot of conversations about race, which characteristics were desirable or undesirable. Called them genetic weaknesses- not weaknesses and not genetic, they were based on racist ideals. Saw black people as criminals and it could be fixed through genetics. They would force people into sterilization, it was in accordance to the constitution in the. Forced sterilization was also used in a racial context, combatted poverty and because black people were commonly poor, it took on a racial tact. Hitler took it the farthest with the holocaust: racial hierarchy. Aryans- big, tall, strong, blonde, northern european (propaganda for the ideal germans) Nordic- norway, sweden, denmark- treats them better according to his racial views. Latin- french, italian, portuguese- hitler saw them as underachievers, inferior. Slavs- polish, russians, czechs- thinks they should be enslaved.
