Study, design, implementation, support, management are all part of a computer- based information system, particularly software and hardware. People, competency, attitude, critical thinking, best practice. Moore"s law, 1965: computer processing power will double every 18 months. Ex: a car company will double its gas mileage every eighteen months. Ex: you are in charge of buying 1,000 phones for sales representatives. Leader: buys the newest technology to hopefully get an edge. Ex: buying a 3d tv in 2013.
