Document Summary

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are the three unalienable rights given to all. American citizens under the constitution of the united states. Life is a rather straightforward right, meaning that we all deserve the right to live our lives out. Liberty is essentially the freedom to make our own decisions. The pursuit of happiness is trickier than life and liberty. Each and every person has many different things that they believe would make them happy. To start with, goals keep a person motivated and constantly trying to better themselves, others around them, their job, and anything or anybody else they interact with. They help you achieve your dreams and are key to being successful and happy. From a relationship standpoint, goals are important so that your significant other is aware of what your future may hold and knows you are striving to better your overall situation. Without goals people can become stagnant, lazy, and uncaring.
