Our sedentary (sit-around) lifestyle has developed into a society that is experiencing an ever-increasing number of hypokinetic diseases: hypokinetic diseases pose a real threat to the health of our nation. Improper lifestyle choices account for 51% of the deaths in the u. s: these diseases include, but are not limited to, coronary artery disease, hypertension, obesity, osteoporosis, maturity onset diabetes, ulcers, stress, and low back pain.
