Document Summary

Dictionary definition: the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy and especially light on a sensitive surface. Camera chooses iso, aperature and shutter speed. Camera select focus based on subjects and objects in frame. It"s the factory default and ready to use on all new cameras. It enables auto iso allowing iso to fluctuate and match changing light conditions. Exposure is good when the scene is average in tonal value or averages to 18% Exposure is good under gentle, soft and diffuse light. You can"t achieve depth of field by using a wide aperture at will. You can"t play with time by playing with shutter speed at will. Iso changes constantly thus leading to inconsistencies in shots shot in a series under changing light conditions. Exposure is poor when the scene very dark or very bright.
