Sorry, i took notes throughout the entire lecture and am uncertain if the notes at the end were included in the lecture or something magdalena spoke aloud and discussed in class. I tried referencing back to the powerpoint notes, but she hasn"t noted them up yet. The idea of body and soul are connected are important because: it is comforting to know that death is the last stage. In dreams: we confront fears, freud"s idea: subconscious thoughts, self/reality vs. dream state. Dual aspect of human existence shaped view of self. Man supposedly killed wife; said it was an accident. Mind doing something different than body: therefore, it"s not conscious. Not accidents : clear intention, subconscious has desires.
