Your honour, members of the jury, my name is sandhya singh and i am representing the deceased, milan. He on the 22nd of november 1997 did in fact commit an act of first-degree murder in violation of section 2-745 of the new columbia code. And that he, on the 22nd of november 1997, committed the act of criminal hazing in violation of section 4-1213 of the new columbia code. Today we are here to talk about the death of milan jackson and who was responsible for her death. Jackson was a talented young lady who had a lot going for her. Growing up, she struggled with a lot of insecurities in school and her social life; she was teased a lot and simply just wanted to fit in like everyone else. When milan was accepted into columbia university, along with her best friend, she was excited to start a fresh new chapter in her life.
