Diseases are defined by a doctor, medical professor, someone with a phd. Cultural constructed can be interpreted differently. Equal, yet different forms of healing formerly trained medical doctors who"s practiced the scientific approach to healing. Nebulous concept links between individual pain and distress to large social events, structural events immediate suffering after social violence: ex. Poverty: poor sterilization, abuse by parents/relationships domestic violence, young aboriginal children taken away from residential schools.
