July 14th, 2015 could not arrive quickly enough for me as it was the day that i would complete my second bout of leading a small group discussion. The first session did well to prepare me for the second one. I now knew how to present my questions for discussion and consequently, what to expect from members of my group. My topic of choosing this time around was gender and. Sexuality from the readings of baird and muszynski. The topics are somewhat controversial in my surroundings as such issues are vehemently at odds with my cultural and religious upbringing and my general understanding of how the world is supposed to work. For this very reason i found these topics to be quite intriguing and very informative. I was quickly able to draw comparisons between the topic of sexuality and my area of study-biology.
