Ethnicity: refers to social disincions and relaions among individuals and groups based upon their cultural characterisics. Race: refers to people assumed/understood/socially constructed but socially signiicant grouping of people. Physical disinciions are more comon when intermaing is prevented. Racial separaism is the belief most of the ime based on racism, that diferent races should remain segregated and apart from one another. Ethnocerntrism: takes place when a person judges (usually negaively) a person from another culture based on criteria from their own culture. Prejudice: refers to the negaive views of and aitudes about memebers of various minority groups. Discriminaion: refers to a set of pracices that afect certain social groups.
