Interrupt behavior in order to get pass the defense. The client has to participate and bring dreams in if there any dreams. The much of the work is what client does between the sections. Initial the therapist i the blind screen so the client can project. Whatever feelings that i have i would transfer those to the therapist. By recognizing it you will have more control over it. It focus on unconscious and the past because most of it happens in the childhood. Client is the sender, who is sending messages. Therapist is the receiver, who perceives the information. The one you pick up depends on the what channel you are on. Perceptions is more of an understanding, two terms are related; sensation and perceive, but they are different.
