However researching findings discussed in lecture are fair game for test 2 and may show up as test questions. You do not need to know specific drugs that are used for specific forms of anxiety. You do need to know what types of drugs are used to treat anxiety disorders in general. In other words, know the general categories of drugs used to treat anxiety (e. g. , benzodiazepines) not specific drug names (e. g. , impramine). You do not need to know information presented in figures 5. 2, 5. 5, 5. 6, 5. 8 to 5. 10. You do not need to know information presented in tables 5. 1 to 5. 8 and 5. 10, 5. 11. You will need to be able to distinguish different somatic symptom disorders when provided with a brief case description.
