An unusual way of seeing people, the self, and events ( bias percepion of others or of self) Inlexible patern manifest in many situaions staring in late adolescence ( a certain rigidity in personality) Creates impairment in funcioning ( especially conlict with others) and/or subjecive distress. Distruful, socially aloof, unable to connect with others. The individual suspects (without enough evidence) that others are exploiing,harming,or deceiving him/her. They don"t understand that these suspicion is only in their percepion. (it"s never their problem, it"s the others) They individual is always preoccupied with unjusiied doubts about the loyalty or trustworthiness of friends or associates. They perceive atacks on his or her character that are not apparent to others and is quick to react angrily. They have reccurent suspiions, without jusiicaion, regarding the idelity of spouse or partner.
