Mind can through process of perception can create an experience that isn"t based on the sense receptors. Brain doesn"t have ultimate control of what it chooses to focus on. Perception contributing meaning to your physical experience and that can deviate your physical experience. The eye: pupil dilates when you are in the dark so you can see more light, it expands, whereas in the sun your pupil constricts. You see the wold that you have made. But you do not see yourself as the image maker. Perceptual organization: visual capture: sight has pre-eminence over other senses. Kinesthetic movement gives you nothing, only your eyes are communicating a scene that allows you to feel form perception: Short answer (extracted mostly from lectures) (20%: read chapters, except for pages omitted.
