Executive politics: leadership and execution of laws. Executive institutions within liberal democratic states, the part of government that executes law/ makes law happen. Executives responsible for outside interest aswell, (foreign policy in one way or another) some of this is related to process (convention) Just like in legislative politics, lots of factors intervene in the way that it operates. Electoral issues: direct or indirect election, executive constituency. Or the second possibility the leader/executive is chosen indirectly by the populous as in a parliamentary executive. Which determines the legislative party which then determines who is elevated to executive positions. Leader usually the pm, and the pm cabinet is chosen on a particular basis. That individual and the cabinet are based on their signority in the party. That individual and others have come over time through political process, backstabing etc they have come to lead the party.
