16/03/2017: why is there something rather than nothing, if it doesn"t boil down to experience, logic, etc, it is totally useless, pushes empiricism to scepticism, bases on evidence and observation. Once read about, it doesn"t make a difference in one"s real world. Called berkeley a skeptic: how much reason we engage in, doesn"t make a difference, (1, section 1) practical philosophy. Uses rhetoric to convey messages: (1) humans as rational agents, (2) all technical philosophy/ideas vanish after time. It does not make a difference to how you live: (3) virtues of both types of philosophy (practical and theoretical) that we should mix. Being a philosopher does not contribute to society, but those who are anti-philosophical are ignorant: (3) man is a reasonable being. humans are reasonable and rational, sociable, who delight company. Don"t dedicate yourself to only philosophy, find a proper means between these. Be still a human being. too much phil will leave you melancholy.
