We as beings connect to a finite universe, in theism we are talking about divine being. According to judaism the divine human relation is structured by the fact that commandments are issued by the divine being and in commanding us a relation of nearness and farness is generated. There is a mystery and tension of the idea of the infinite being and finite. Evidence through miracles that the divine being is: and that this divine being is somewhere high in infinity- higher than us. The capacity to bend down low to accept human beings and their finite humanity. Trying to figure out meaning to life and the meaning of our lives derives from the human encounter. Divine infinity is not preoccupied by finite worldly things, and cannot be understood in any finite worldly things- so our encounter with the divine we are confined to our own cube- no idea we dissolve into the infinite.
