Astronomy has changed our perspective from geocentric to heliocentric and given rise to the correct interpretation of lights in the night sky . Mass variable, all objects regardless their weight will all fall at the same rate because gravitational pull, won"t happen on earth because of air resistance (galileo) tested apollo 15, july 1971. Gives context to where to find life, exoplanets: where life may exist. First exoplanet found was in 1995, before then our universe was the only known place in universe were planets were suspected to be, lots of techniques to find these exoplanets. Suspected billion exoplanets in the milky way. Main focus is to find exoplanets with comparable surface conditions to earth, the more like earth the planet is the higher likelihood of it having life. Just as physical laws seem universal, we suspect the same is true for biology.
