Packet switching technology is the thing that separates internet from any previous kind of communication network or system, is a way you send a message through your system. The original message that you send is broken into small digital packets or digital bits. One thing that these digital packets have in common is a common address. These digital bits will go through different groups and different servers. They will all get to their final destination because of the common address system. Packet switching technology is a decentralized way of sending a message. The message does not go to point a to point b or c different packets will go through different routes but will all get to final destination because of common address.
