The goal is to protect astronomers" bone structure from the negative effects of lack of gravity when in space and back on earth. The new suit is designed and woven in a way that would compress the body from shoulder down to prevent the stretching of the spine and other bones. Mogensen, an astronaut with the european space agency (esa) is expected to be the first to test the new suit in 2015: research results.
