Grading scheme: 3 tests: 20% each, 3 assignments: 8% each, participation 6% (clickers/lesson quizzes, obtain score of 150 for full participation grade. Each clicker question answered = 1 (doesn"t have to be right) Each correctly answered question in lesson quizzes = 1: online reading assignments 10, do not copy exactly what is in the textbook. Why are the points important: put it into your own words, own individual understanding of work. What is science: process, figure out how the world works, make observation. Try to create model/make hypothesis of how things work (explanation: test out the explanation. Brain is wired to see patterns: you can never actually prove a model is correct. Simply test it to match an observance (theories/laws)
