Henley"s work employs a broad range of themes relating to the psychology of gender. Topics include, concepts of the self, rape, moral development, pornography, aggression and race. Henley uses two descriptive case studies, as wells as surveys that document the ways in which these topics impact sex differences in cognition. Her work will allow me to broaden my perspective on the various and diverse elements that influence gender norms. Furthermore, her research is particular helpful because she does well to integrate many different themes.
