Male reproductive system: paired testes in the scrotum, epididymis stores maturing sperm, sperm travel through the vas deferens to the ejaculatory duct, the ejaculatory ducts enter the urethra. Produce a fluid that nourishes sperm, and assists movement of sperm once in the female reproductive tract. Produces alkaline secretions that activate sperm and reduce the acidity of the male and female reproductive system. Produce a mucous secretion before ejaculation that neutralizes acidic urine in the urethra. Contribute secretions that make the seminal fluid gelatinous, and lubricate the penis for intercourse. Fructose as an energy source for sperm.
