Photosynthesis creates toxic oxygen to other types of bacteria and allows bacteria to multiply in the ocean and change atmosphere on earth. Dinosaurs inherit the earth and dominate the earth for over 150 million years. 1000 s of species of dinosaurs that control the planet. Theory: (asteroids) an asteroid the size of mount everest struck the earth and killed all dinosaurs. Theory: (volcanism) volcanoes erupted and killed the dinosaurs. Side theory: marine regression (receding of the seas and lakes killed life) Two main theories conflict and are often argued against each other. End permian extinction: 96-99% of all life on earth became extinct. Confusion as to how bird life survived with all the heat and magma.
