Theories of truth: we are interested in truth as it applies to propositions/ statements. If a proposition is sentence/ statement that deny sth then presumably it can be confirms as either being t/f. So, i(cid:859)(cid:373) sa(cid:455)i(cid:374)g trudo is an honest politician and all politicians are dishonest there is a contrary, we cannot believe sth is true and is not true at the same time. ) So, law of contradiction is a principle of thought: on such a def, it is completely mysterious why any of us think that truth is difficult to obtain. Bc on this definition of truth, all i need to do to discover the truth, is to make up my mind about sth. We do(cid:374)(cid:859)t (cid:374)eed to conduct investigation, run tests to discover truth. All we have to do is to make up our mind to create truth which is ridicules: the real flaw.
