Commonly thought that passive is doing no harm. Tar sands are a resource in canada. Ancient sands that lie underneath the top soil. Canada has a vast resource of this tar sand (sometimes called oil sands) (cid:498)open pit mining(cid:499) (cid:523)must do this to suck out tar sand(cid:524) Remove all top soil, then you get to the tar sand, separate sand from petroleum, need vast amount of fresh water.
