Both is viewed negatively but have different propositions/connotation cuz one is viewed more religiously to the aspect. 1) stealing is a sin, stealing is a crime. 2) wendy is a journalist, wendy works at a newspaper. Pat had a good time at the party, pat didn"t have a bad time at the party. Not the same connotation bcuz pat didn"t have a bad time at the party is not negative.
