Environment: living in third world countries, broken families. Prevalence: leading cause of death is cancer and then heart disease. Cost: it the chronic diseases that people have that are pushing cost budget up, not aging. Treatment: duplicaion of treatment, ex/cardiologist send you to get blood tests while the respiratory and orthopedic doctor also send you to get blood tests. There"s a new disease out there: complex chronic disease. As we get older, the less protecion they have from sun, so they develop brown spots. Wrinkling and sagging, paricularly the skin most exposed to sun. Takes longer to heal if cut or wounded. Get bruised and wounded more oten: hair. Men lose hair and become bald, women"s hair gets thin: nails. Become very dull and can indicate health problems. Become very thick, especially on toe and big toe and get ingrown toe nails. Important for diabeics to look ater their feet and esp nail care.
