Bursa pads: help cushion soft tissue as they go around bone. Subacromial bursa pad: under acronium (suprapsinatus muscle"s tendon will be protected under it) Subdeltoid bursa pad: if u extend subacromial pad laterally, it helps protect deltoid muscle (muscle that comes around shoulder) anterior view. Also needs bursa pad (subscapular bursa pad): helps protect its tendon. Series of bursa pads found around shoulder joint, protecting soft tissue. Fibrocartilage ring goes around labrum = deepens socket of shoulder joint & stabilizes. Flex down & expend or further by bringing it out. Lacks stability but tradeoff for great range of movement --muscles help reinforce. Forearm = radius (thumb, lateral side) & ulna (pink, medial side) Radial tuberosity (attachment point for brachial muscle) = distinct bump at top. Styloid process = point at bottom (felt at wrist) Notch for ulna = fits tightly against radius. Interossitious membrane: helps link bones together, provides large sa for muscles to attach.
