Social capital: resources based on networks of influence or support, friendships, relationships. Cultural capital: resources based on knowledge, skills, education, advantages in life (travel, sports, clubs, etc. ) Symbolic: resources available based on honour, prestige or recognition. The shift from material to cultural and symbolic forms of capital hides, to a large extent, the causes of inequality. Relative social position of an individual or group.
