Troy, for the reason that agamemnon and his brother menelaus"s were dishonoured by him and were compelled to gain their honour back, which was said in forced to vindicate our honour (47). The people of argos were as well were too hungry for war (230) which drove people to take advantage of the situation and go to war. As a result of the dishonour that paris committed by stealing menelaus"s wife, zeus, the god of guest especially had put a fury over agamemnon to seek revenge against troy. She wants people to rejoice with her whereas she feels glory. He brimmed the cup so full of curses and evil that he drank it dry himself when he came home (1397-1398) clytemnestra explains that agamemnon basically did this to himself.
