Odysseus transitioned from calypso"s island to skuria - from one mysterious island to another. Description of the phaeacians:: hyperculture, they are similar to the greeks in the fact that they practice the art of xenia, welcome guests and give gifts. But they are extra: they live incredible luxurious life, food and clothing all year round. And they shower odysseus with gifts even though they do not know him and yet they welcome him. He is an anonymous, mysterious, naked man from the ocean: they are very peaceful, even when they do their competitive games, they excel in dancing - group dancing (shield of achilles- dancing. To dance is to be in great physical harmony as a group with the people you are with, you perform same steps and performs same music. Dancing is symbol of harmonious and orderly community: the phaeacians with a high aesthetic standard, they are not military fighters, they are quick, fast, nimble and a little magical.
