Aiakis grandfather of achilleus; aiakides another name of achilleus. Patrokles cannot fully embody the armor of achilleus, but goes on anyway. Sarpedon falls at the hands of patrokles; men gather around him as flies ans such swarmed his dead body. Patrokles goes into a blind fury; killing many men trying to escape; runs into hektor. Hektor uses a spear to kill him; patrokles last dying words beware of achilleus.
